Birth Announcement
From the Farm of
Mr. and Mrs. David Penn of Millville

Hello Mrs. Jean Locker and Kids for Christ!
Just wanted to let you know we have a new baby calf.  It’s a BOY – bull calf! His name is Chilly Willie.  He is redish-brown in color and pretty frisky.  He was born on January 2, 2012 at about 8:30 am and he is doing just fine – him and mama.  Mama is very protective of her new baby.  Thanks to all of you for visiting with us.  Naomi enjoyed the attention.  She’s kind of a show off anyway.  Just thought we would let you know about the baby.

DYLAN’S GRANDMA NEEDS HELP!

Dylan Jamison and his mother Malinda have been active in the children’s and youth programs at Highland for several years.  Dylan considers Highland his church home and they have become much more than neighbors, THEY ARE FAMILY!

Malinda’s mother and step-father, Larry and Ruby McPherron lost their home on Old Owenton Road to a fire in December.  After counting their blessings that no one was home at the time and after mourning the loss of priceless things that are gone forever (pictures and memories).  They have now started to rebuild their lives.

KIDS For Christ want to help and everyone knows that Grandma’s need a well stocked kitchen.  Between now and our Church Potluck Dinner – February 8th – we are asking you to bring in “stuff” for Grandma’s kitchen.
